Baby Sophia Gifts was started by Jennifer Ludt, a mom dissatisfied with corporate life after mommyhood. Tired of low quality burp cloths and cutesy bibs with no character, Jennifer bought an embroidery machine, taught herself to sew and within a few weeks Baby Sophia Gifts was born.

In May 2012, Jennifer and her family moved to the Asian country of Singapore for her husband's job. Jennifer's mother, Kathy, took over as the head of Baby Sophia Gifts. Kathy has been sewing for most of her life, and is excited to keep the business thriving!
